Connect your social accounts so your OpenClaw bot can post, reply, and interact on your behalf.

How to Connect

On your bot’s dashboard, expand the Connect Social section. You’ll see the available platforms to connect. Connect social accounts

Supported Platforms

  • Telegram — Connect a Telegram bot to chat with your OpenClaw
  • WhatsApp — Connect a WhatsApp bot to chat with your OpenClaw
Click the connect icon next to each platform and follow the on-screen steps to complete the connection.

Connect Telegram

To connect Telegram, you’ll need a bot token from BotFather: Connect Telegram modal
  1. Open Telegram and go to @BotFather
  2. Start a chat and type /newbot
  3. Follow the prompts to name your bot and choose a username
  4. BotFather will send you a message with your bot token. Copy the entire token
  5. Paste the token in the field and click Save & Connect
Once connected, you’ll see a success confirmation with next steps to start chatting. OpenClaw connected successfully Next steps to start chatting:
  1. Open your bot on Telegram and send any message. You’ll get a reply with your Telegram user ID and a pairing code
  2. Paste the message into your dashboard and ask the bot owner to approve you
  3. You’re all set to chat via Telegram!
